Dear LHPOA Resident:

The Lake Heritage Property Owners Association has recently awarded the contract for local residential trash pick up and recycling services to Park’s Garbage Service Inc., effective January 1, 2010. Park’s Garbage Service is a company with a great reputation for customer service that will be celebrating 50 years in business in 2010.

Please read over the information on this page, which will tell you how to sign up for the new trash and recycling services and give you pricing information.

Collection Rates

$46.38 per quarter for trash collection and one bulk item per week. Limit of (6) 32-gallon bags/cans. Extra trash over the limit will be charged at $3 per 32-gal bag/can. Your fee includes a 96-gallon cart with wheels, available on request.

Bulk items: A bulk item is something too large for the container, such as furniture, bedding, large toys, various equipment or tires that do not exceed 36” in height or 16” in width. One bulk item is allowed per week. For items containing freon, such as refrigerators, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, etc. and tires, please call to schedule the collection. These items will be collected within 48 hours of your call.

Recycling: Recycling is available at no extra charge. Upon request, you will receive a 32 Gallon can with a lid. Recycling will be every other week on Fridays. Set your recyclables out with your trash

LHPOA Trash Pick Up Day is FRIDAY Morning. Please Leave trash out the night before

Bills issued quarterly on Jan 15, April 15, July 15 and Oct 15, 2010.

Recycling

There is no additional cost for recycling. Recycling is single stream, meaning the commodities do not need to be separated. Check out details on recycling by clicking on our Items that can be recycled page.

2010 Holiday Schedule

When your collection day is on or after the following holidays: Your trash will be collected the day after the regular collection day.

Monday, May 31	Monday, September 6	Thursday, November 25
Weekend Holidays and Your collection day will remain the same. No Changes.
Sunday, July 4	Saturday, December 25	Saturday, January 1

Put out trash the NIGHT BEFORE collection day. Trash must be in front of your house or along your main
service road, unless other arrangements are made.
